Kukkiwon is releasing “Taekwondo Family,” a web documentary that features the stories of people who have Taekwondo at the center of their lives.

Taekwondo Family is the sequel to the web documentary “Don't Stop Taekwondo” previously presented by Kukkiwon. It captures on video the genuine warmth of people who use Taekwondo as a guiding force in their fiercely competitive lives.

Through the web documentary “Taekwondo Family,” Kukkiwon aimed to convey that Taekwondo is a meaningful culture that goes beyond a simple sport to connect a person's life, family, and community.

Produced as a 6-part series in total, “Taekwondo Family” will premiere at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24 on Kukkiwon's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/kukkiwonpr).

Thereafter, new episodes are scheduled to be released sequentially every Wednesday at 10:00 AM.

The protagonist of the first story features Jo Eun-ho, who works as a character actor at the Korean Folk Village. The story showcases his life, challenges, and sincerity toward Taekwondo as he pioneers his own path as a Taekwondo actor.

In the following episodes, the lives of various Taekwondo families, both at home and abroad, will be introduced. These include Sam Johnston, a Taekwondo master and member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, Canada; Taekwondo creator Taekwon In-ah; special education teacher Kim Sol; and Taekwondo international student Kendra Mekdes Anderson.

The final episode, in particular, highlights the efforts made to develop Taekwondo by portraying a day in the life of Kukkiwon President Yun Ung-suk.

Meanwhile, Kukkiwon also plans to soon release new YouTube content titled “My Promotion Journal,” which documents the progress of Taekwondo trainees.

Kukkiwon is dedicated to creating diverse content to actively engage with the public and promote the values of Taekwondo to the worldwide.
