Kukkiwon (President Yun Ung-suk) is publishing VOL. 6 of its promotional magazine KUKKIWON.

VOL. 6 of KUKKIWON is scheduled for release on November 30, Kukkiwon’s Foundation Day, and will contain major events carried out by Kukkiwon throughout 2025 as well as various news from the Taekwondo community.

Since relaunching KUKKIWON with VOL. 1 in May 2023, Kukkiwon has been publishing the magazine to share key updates and promote communication and harmony with the global Taekwondo family.

This 136-page volume, printed in A4 size (210×297 mm), is available in both Korean and English editions. It includes sections such as Cover Story, New Leadership at Kukkiwon, Taking the Leap, Column, Feature, Zoom In, Global, Analysis, Opinion, and Event.

The Cover Story highlights individuals’ Taekwondo training journey across their entire life cycle from childhood and youth to adulthood and senior years.

In particular, this volume features an in-depth interview which provides a more detailed look at President Yun Ung-suk’s future vision and new policy direction for Kukkiwon.

The Feature covers two topics, “The Meaning of Dan” and “Taekwondo Practicality” which explore the current state, status, and practical value of Taekwondo from various angles.

The volume also explores how Taekwondo is breaking the boundaries of culture and the arts and how it has even become a popular theme in entertainment shows. It will also include news and stories from the members of the Taekwondo community around the world.

Not only that, the magazine vividly captures the excitement that filled the major Kukkiwon events held in Korea and abroad, including the 2025 World Taekwondo Hanmadang, the 72nd Korea–U.S. Alliance Taekwondo Festival, and the 2025 Foreigner Taekwondo Exhibition Festival.

President Yun Ung-suk said, “I am pleased to publish this magazine that brings together various stories we created with the Taekwondo family throughout 2025. I hope this magazine becomes a medium that connects the global Taekwondo community as one.”

VOL. 6 of KUKKIWON will be distributed free of charge to Taekwondo-related organizations and sports institutions in Korea and abroad, and anyone can access the e-book version on the Kukkiwon website (www.kukkiwon.or.kr).
