Master Duncan Mahlangu, became the first Taekwondo Master as the native African after completing his 'Taekwondo Friendship Training Program 2009'.

  Master Duncan completed his masters' course in 2009 than promoted his Taekwondo Dan to 4th dan on October 2011, which finally leaded him to receive his Taekwondo masters' certificate.

  He is also well known in his own nation, South Africa, by spreading out Taekwondo widely among South Africans. Moreover, his effort during the 2004 Athens Olympics, was also highly praised by others.

  ‘Taekwondo Friendship Training Program’, organized by the Kukkiwon, is a well programmed training course for foreigners from East Asia and African countries with its aim of spreading out the Korea and its traditional cultures including Taekwondo.
