Through this program, Kukkiwon has been able to promote friendship with the invited countries, spreading the Taekwondo culture, establish partnerships, enhance pride in Korea for its superior Taekwondo culture and as the home of Taekwondo, and performed cultural diplomatic roles.
In June 2009, three Taekwondo leaders were invited from Bhutan, Mongolia, and the Republic of South Africa. They will learn the Korean culture and be trained in Taekwondo skills and techniques until December 2009. They are sponsored by Kukkiwon.

The invited leaders have been visiting Taekwondo institutes, gyms and universities, and interchanging with other foreign Taekwondo practitioners. They are completing the curriculums in Korean cultural experiences and learning Han Geul.
They will be committed as a partner who will promote the Korean culture and Taekwondo in their home countries based on the friendships that have been established for six months during their training and Korean cultural experience.
Kukkiwon is devoted to fulfill its project of inviting and supporting Taekwondo leaders from underdeveloped countries who will introduce and spread the Taekwondo spirit worldwide.
