Kukkiwon recruits Taekwondo Masters to dispatch to 10 countries on 4 continents, including Asia, Europe, Pan-America, and Africa.

A total of 10 countries are subject to dispatch Masters: 1 Asian country (Lebanon), 2 European countries [Slovakia, Russia (Irkutsk)], 1 Central American country (Jamaica), and 6 African countries (Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and Morocco). The number of recruits is one for each country.

Since, except for Morocco in Africa, the rest of 9 countries had no qualified applicants at the time of the recruiting process last October, the recruitment is re-opened.

In order to secure the eligibility in each field, two types of Masters will be recruited: Type A Master for leading a national team (Gyeorugi-centered instruction) and Type B Master for instructing soldiers, police, and field leaders (Poomsae and demonstration-centered instruction).

While three countries (Slovakia, Angola, and Ghana) are subject to Type A, seven countries [Cameroon, Kenya, Russia (Irkutsk), Lebanon, Uganda, Jamaica, and Morocco] are subjected to Type B. Applicants can apply up to 3 countries. However, a cross application between A and B Types is not available.

An applicant should have obtained Taekwondo 5th Dan or higher from Kukkiwon, Master certificate, and sports Instructor certificate (for Taekwondo).

Those who have not acquired the sports instructor certificate (for Taekwondo) can still apply, but they must acquire the certificte within one year of the initial contract period.

The application due is 2PM, December 1 (Wed). Applications are only accepted by e-mail (dispatchtkd@gmail.com).

For further details, refer to the Kukkiwon\\'s website (www.kukkiwon.or.kr).

Currently, Kukkiwon has dispatched a total of 56 Masters (one per country) to 56 countries (19 Asian countries, 13 European countries, 12 Central American countries, 10 African countries, and 2 Oceania countries).

Dispatched Master (1) - Kukkiwon Master Kwon Yeong-dal dispatched to Nepal.

Dispatched Master (2) - Kukkiwon Master Lee Yeon-jae dispatched to Czech Republic is instructing Taekwondo skills.
