|[ Etc ] ¡®Keep Practicing Taekwondo, Put Aside Your Concerns!¡¯¡¦ Kukkiwon to Run Campaign to Encourage Taekwondo Training|
Kukkiwon is going to run a public advertisement campaign to support front-line Taekwondo dojangs suffering from the aftermath of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and to encourage Taekwondo training.
As part of \'Don\'t Stop Taekwondo\' campaign, which has been running since last March, this campaign plans to produce and promote an advertisement video with the theme \'Keep Practicing Taekwondo, Put Aside Your Concerns!\'.
The 6-minute advertisement video released on the official YouTube channel of Kukkiwon (www.youtube.com/kukkiwonpr) on Monday, September 6 contains interviews with Taekwondo instructors about how Taekwondo dojangs are taking disinfection measures to ensure the safety of practicing Taekwondo at the dojang.
As the government\'s social distancing scheme to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is being maintained at the highest level, the damage of the front-line taekwondo dojangs is getting worse.
Although Taekwondo dojangs are strictly observing the government\'s disinfection guidelines during the instruction and practice, the continued spread of the COVID-19 makes practitioners avoid face-to-face training courses.
Kukkiwon recognized the reality that Taekwondo dojangs are faced with and decided to promote a campaign to revive an atmosphere and encourage practitioners to continue practicing without concerning safety.
As the campaign targets the general public, Kukkiwon plans to maximize the promotional effect by promoting the campaign via social network services (SNS).
Kukkiwon President Lee Dong-sup said, ¡°Leaders of front-line Taekwondo dojangs are taking thorough disinfection measures under the government guideline¡±. ¡°I hope that the campaign will help relieve the concerns of trainees and parents by actively promoting the safety of Taekwondo training which is conducted under the strict disinfection measures¡±, he added.
Kukkiwon has run an online advertising campaign to support the global Taekwondo families whose Taekwondo training is affected due to the spread of the COVID-19 and to encourage the general public to take an interest in Taekwondo training.
