Kukkiwon President Lee Dong-sup has joined ¡®Relay for Road Safety for Children Challenge¡¯(hereinafter referred to as the ¡°Challenge¡±).
The Challenge is a nation-wide campaign led by the Ministry of Interior and Safety in December last year aiming to raise people¡¯s awareness on the prevention of accidents in school zones.
One can join the campaign by posting a picture of oneself with the campaign slogan ¡®Stop First, Look Both Ways, For Three Seconds, to Prevent Accident¡¯ in hand on social media and by naming three other persons for relay of the Challenge.
Named by Taekwondo Promotion Foundation Secretary-General Jeong Guk-hyeon, Kukkiwon President Lee Dong-sup joined the Campaign.
¡°I am honored to join this Campaign with such an important goal of spreading the culture of keeping road safety for children¡±, said President Lee. He also hoped that ¡°More people would pay attention to child accident prevention through this Campaign¡±.
To relay the Challenge, President Lee recommended the campaign to President of Incheon-si Taekwondo Association Lee Hwa-hyeon, President of Chungnam Taekwondo Association Kim Jin-ho, and President of Jeju Taekwondo Association Kim Jong-min.
