|[ Etc ] Kukkiwon to Hold GLOBAL TAEKWONDO LEADERS FORUM SEOUL 2019|
Kukkiwon (President Choi Young-Ryul) will be holding GLOBAL TAEKWONDO LEADERS FORUM SEOUL 2019, which is an international academic event that represents Taekwondo.
The Forum, co-hosted by Kukkiwon and Seoul Sports Council and sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan City, will be held at the Harmony Ballroom of Intercontinental Seoul COEX on December 8 (Sun) from 10:00 AM, and will see about 600 people from 30 countries around the world participating in the Forum.
Since taking its first step in 2009, this year marks the 9th time starting from 2012 and has been established as the international academic event that represents Taekwondo.
The intention of the Forum is to invite Taekwondo leaders from all over the world to stress that Seoul, the capital of Korea, is the central city of world Taekwondo while organizing a venue to make academic exchanges and create future values for Taekwondo.
This Forum takes its theme as ¡°The Future of Taekwondo Changed by Content¡±, which fits very well with the era of global confusion, and will feature special lecture and keynote speech, and lectures related to a variety of content, starting from the opening ceremony.
First of all, a special lecture will be presented by the Ongals, who will be presenting a touching story on their tearful advancement into overseas under the theme, ¡°We are ONGALS¡±. This lecture will be a nonverbal performance using only sounds and body movements.
Following that, Bill Capodagli will be presenting the keynote speech. He is the best-selling author of The Disney Way and a management strategy expert at Walt Disney, a US company producing animations.
Bill Capodagli will propose the management strategy of the world¡¯s biggest content company, and the possibilities and directions of Taekwondo content under the subtitle, ¡°If Walt Ran Your Organization!¡±
Other additional lectures will be presented by 5 lecturers about Taekwondo content as follows: ¡âPossibility of Taekwondo Content (Professor Seung Pil Lee at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies); ¡â Red Bull¡¯s Content Marketing Strategy (Min-cheol Shin, planner of Red Bull Kick-It and Taekwondo master); ¡â Korea Taekwondo Dojang Marketing Using Content (Kwan Head Jong Soo Jung of Sonamuhyanggi Taekwondo Dojang); ¡â US Taekwondo Dojang Marketing Using Content ¨ç [Brannon Beliso, head instructor of One Martial Arts); and ¡â US Taekwondo Dojang Marketing Using Content ¨è (presiding Grand Master G.K. Lee of ATA).
